In small town Tennessee, Michael and Aaron met through mutual friends. In time they discovered they both had a very similar taste in and passion for music. Previous attempts to make their dreams of playing original music would get started, but never seemed to pan out. The two reunited after the other attempts fell through, and things seemed to finally click into place.
After some creative differences with drummers, the two were looking for someone more aligned with their musical vision. Josh just so happened to express interest right around the same time they stopped looking, and after a few practices it was clear: this was the lineup they needed. With a full, committed lineup Counterculture was ready to rock.
